Last week, we started posting brand new TBATE lore drops as part of the Patreon revamp! Last week’s episode was about the Twin Horns. A little sneak peek:
Some members think the Twin Horns were named after the gauntlets that Reynolds uses in battle, but they were actually named after the two long horns of a mana beast that became Helen’s bow. Reynolds adopted the name for his gauntlets in honor of the party’s name afterward.
This week, we just dropped a new episode featuring Circe’s team!
Writing from Circe’s POV challenged me to really start thinking about the culture of Alacrya. I had the rune-based magic system already thought out beforehand: marks, crests, emblems, regalias; but Circe’s chapters became a platform for me to explore other Alacryan cultural beliefs like the importance of “blood” and what the war meant to the Alacryans.
